The March Snowbird is usually the warmest of the series, and can have big breeze. Regardless, it will be a great day of sailing and friendship.
After racing we’ll run a mini-clinic on the water or inside the breakwater, practicing techniques such as reefing, man overboard, docking, and other skills, depending on conditions.
The november Snowbird race is always fun. The Snowbird races are known for high winds and are usually cold so bring your foul weather gear and be prepared to learn how to sail during a race in some big wind.

The December 2018 Snowbird was awesome with perfect 15 knot wind and calm conditions. The conditions were ideal to learn advanced sailing techniques and make a new friends.

The January 2019 Snowbird race had very light winds and beautiful weather. Lucky for us, Scirocco eats up light winds so we finished the race and had time for spinnaker practice adfter the race.

The Iceberg Race is always fun because January can be very windy and the race is usually held the week after the Snowbird so the boat and the crew are tuned up and feeling confident.
