Windworks 2017 San Juan Islands Sailing Program

Book now for May and receive 15% off your charter!

Last year was the first year Windworks stationed a fleet at Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes, and the response was overwhelming with the fleet 90% booked for the season. Based on popular demand and a lot of member feedback we have created a 2017 San Juan Sailing program that offers one additional vessel and more variety.

When & Where

Boats will be stationed at Cap Sante Marina which is conveniently located about an hour north of Seattle in Anacortes. Lucy Jane will be there starting May 6th. Bente will follow the third week of March and One World will be there after Labor Day. The Fleet will return to Shilshole during the last week of September 2017.

Cap Sante is arguably one of the nicest marinas in Washington state and includes full amenities including Anthony’s Seafood and is also near Safeway, West Marine and has convenient access to the San Juan Islands.

How to Reserve

Windworks will honor booking requests on a “First Come, First Served” basis for both our members and non-members. Please submit your request with your week preferences, and a staff member will contact you for the next steps. A limited number of 3 and 4-day charters will be available throughout the season. Please contact customer support for more details.

If you have not sailed with us before, please submit a sailing resume with your request

Charters departing from Anacortes operate on a weekly schedule. Our standard charter week is Saturday at 9 AM until Friday at 12 PM. This schedule allows our staff to have adequate time for cleaning and maintenance between reservations, as they will most likely be scheduled “back to back”. Saturday mornings from 9AM-11AM, our staff will conduct a Safety Briefing, and Charter Orientation where you will complete an onboard checkout of the vessel. This is a great opportunity to learn about the San Juan’s popular destinations!

The Fleet

The San Juan Fleet will consist of three very capable cruising boats that are especially suited for cruising the San Juan Islands:

Lucy Jane is a three cabin 2006 Bavaria Cruiser 37 who participated in the 2016 program and was very popular. Lucy Jane is spacious, stable, and has holding capacity and ground tackle that make her ideally suited to cruising the San Juan Islands. She also has hydronic cabin heat and a convertible, fully covered cockpit that will keep you cool on hot days and dry when it rains.
