Class Cancelation Policies
For Single-Day Classes
If the participant cancels a course reservation, the course fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied to another course or session, unless:
If the course was purchased at the regular rate and cancellation occurs at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start date:
- a cancellation fee of $175 will be charged and the balance refunded, OR
- a rebooking fee of $100 will be charged and the student may reschedule to a future availability of the same class
Discounted lessons are non-refundable
If Windworks must reschedule a reservation, due to instructor availability, low enrollment, adverse weather conditions or forecasts, or any other event, the participant will be rescheduled to the next available class session as determined by that student.
It is not a guarantee you will pass the Basic Keelboat series. If your US Sailing instructor determines you need more time on the water, you will be rescheduled to one of our Basic Keelboat Makeup classes. These are $75 for a member, $95 for a non member.
Windworks reserves the right to reschedule a lesson due to adverse weather conditions, instructor availability, or any other factor which, in the sole and absolute discretion of Windworks, might adversely affect the safety of students, instructors, or vessels. This cancellation may be made by Windworks at any time before the start of the course.
