Mark Evans

Mark – I was introduced to the world of boating in 1997, when I experienced the Sea of Cortez Cup in La Paz, Mexico with the previous owners of Windworks! That trip changed my life, and because of it, I became the owner of Windworks in 2013.

Welcome to Windworks Sailing & Powerboating.  Very honored having US Sailing and Powerboat certifications available at beautiful Shilshole (Seattle) and Cap Sante Marinas (Anacortes)!  Thank you to our wonderful office and dock staff for the opportunity to serve the Pacific Northwest Sailing and Powerboat community.

Susan Evans

Marketing Manager & Principal

I’m having fun using my many years of sales and marketing experience from various corporations and non-profits to promote WWSC.   I love that we help people achieve their dreams of adventure on the water.   I’ve spent more time on hiking and running trails with ‘Lilly’ and ‘Chester’,  but am now enjoying learning about sailing.

Lauri Trull

General Manager

I’m from Huntington Beach, California and have lived in Seattle since 1994! I’ve been working in customer service for the past 25 years, and have proudly gained more than 10 years of managerial experience. I really enjoy having the ability to work closely with our club members by helping and getting to know them! I hope to provide the best experience for sailors that come through our club!

Will Rodman

Director of Sailing

Growing up on the east coast my family had me sailing before I can even remember.  I spent as much time on the water as I could and was teaching sailing as early as 14.  I attended college in Charleston SC which had a phenomenal sailing program and moved to Seattle 15 years ago.  These waters are truly some of the best to sail in. I enjoy offshore racing and take part in the Sydney-Hobart, Newport-Bermuda, Swiftsure, and Clipper Around the World race to name a few.

Looking forward to sailing with you soon.

Aaron Holmes

Fleet Manager

Oregon native, new to boating and I absolutely love it! I’ve become US Sailing BBC Certified to guarantee the best service for our fleet. I try to make sure each vessel is maintained and equipped for each class, charter and clinic. Happy to provide information about the fleet and their mechanics. If you need any assistance, I’m your guy!

Victor Evans

Yacht Sales

I was born and raised in Seattle and grew up around power-boats.  However, recently I’ve found that I’m a sailor at heart!  Windworks has helped me find my passion.  I get to be around our awesome fleet, learning as much as I can about the different types of vessels. I’m US Sailing BBC Certified, so I can give feedback on our fleet as well as our classes.

Mark Knighton

Dock Staff

I recently moved to the Seattle area from Kaneohe on the windward side of Oahu. Aboard my small daysailer, Rum Huntah, I was a regular site from The Mokes to Mokolii to Ahu O Laka. After a stint working as a faculty member with the University of Hawaii at Manoa, I’ve returned to my sailing roots with a focus on maintenance and repair of boat systems. In March, I sat for ABYC certification exams in both diesel and gasoline engines. Prior to joining the university faculty, I was aboard NOAA research vessels working in remote stretches of Alaska as an AB and building towards my 3 rd Mate Unlimited license. I’ve been fortunate to spend much of my adult life both on and in the ocean and look forward to learning about the Sound and people who call this place home.

Office Staff

After I graduated from Washington State University in the summer of 2018, I found myself at Windworks Sailing & Powerboating! I’ve enjoyed meeting members and working with the Windworks crew. I look forward to meeting you all!

Joe Eskenazi

Dock Staff

I was born and raised in Queen Anne, Seattle where I still spend my summers.   I’m a business student and writing tutor at the University of Redlands and will graduate in 2020.  I came to WWSC the summer of 2017 with no previous sailing experience and was excited to complete the BK courses. I plan to take BC the summer of 2018 while I’m home from school.  I am happy that my time at Windworks has given me a very nice introduction to sailing and powerboating!
