WINDWORKS SAILING CENTER has been the premier boating club in the Pacific Northwest since 1992. Located on the Puget Sound, just 6 miles north of Seattle, our location is convenient, breathtaking and offers direct access to sailing on the Sound. Our location, in the geographic center of the Puget Sound, offers a large variety of great cruising destinations to the North, South, and West - including scenic day-sail and multi-day itineraries.     We specialize in teaching people to powerboat with confidence. We take the time to understand your goals, and evaluate any current boating skills that you may have to date. From there, we use the US POWERBOATING building block teaching approach which combines teaching practical skills in a stimulating, safe environment aboard our boats. As you progress through each certification level, you will be able to boat on your own – on vessels appropriate to that level, and in appropriate weather conditions within navigational limits, building confidence at that level. This stair step approach of “learn, boat, learn, boat” is a proven method of taking you from basic day outings on our powerboats to cruising through the San Juan Islands for a week. And, it can all be done at your pace, so you can progress naturally and confidently. Come learn to powerboat with us.         The Windworks Sailing and powerboating club is designed to be your home for powerboating instruction, charter, and social time. Use the vessels as you would your own, exploring boating with friends and family. Start powerboating from scratch, or improve your sailing skills through the club at your own pace.
