The classic series of lessons are typically
taught over a series of weekend days – such as three consecutive Saturdays. Basic
Keelboat and Basic Cruising each are comprised of three 8 hour sessions, with one 8 hour
session typically taught on a particular weekend day for three weeks. Note: The BK "crew" level is the first 8 hour class. These classes
include vessel, instructor, texts, materials,lunch each day, testing, and US SAILING certification. This
schedule works well for our students who live in the Greater Seattle Area and Western
Washington. Live-aboard accommodations can be made for those traveling to WINDWORKS from
outlying areas to make the three weekend days.

Adventure Series, or Custom lessons
are designed on a personal basis, and are tailored to an individual or
families‘ own time frame. Includes private vessel, instructor and schedule.
These lessons may be structured for a family or private group, and may cover
various levels of certification as designed to suit experience levels and
timing considerations. See course description under "Custom Classes",
and pricing under "Pricing" "Custom Class Price List". There is no set
schedule for the Adventure Series as each class is customized.
