occasion? Showing guests and out-of-town visitors what the Northwest is really all about?
Consider a skippered sailing charter or team event. There are no sailing skills required,
just an appetite to have some fun and get outside. We take care of everything for you and
your event. We can customize a memorable and fun event for groups from 2 to 48 people, in
1/2 day, full day, or multiday formats. From casual family day outings, corporate racing
and corporate picnics, to serious team building strategies, we can help. While each trip
is truly customized to your needs – the vessel you choose and your skipper are yours for
the day – we are not talking about a “cattle car” sharing arrangements! Feel free to

BOATS), or feel free to stop by our office to see the boats for your self and pick the one
that appeals to you the most! Live the sailing lifestyle to the fullest! Depending on the complexity, date and services that your trip will entail, advance planning is a good idea. For groups of up to six persons, a 10 day advance reservation is usually enough lead time. For a corporate racing event involving five or six vessels, catering, race management and guest coordinator prep, prize ceremony, event planning, etc, the planning should be three to four months out. The best way to figure the cost of a skippered or special event is to give us a call and discuss what you‘d like to do. We can work up a quote. A few examples here can give you a guideline: Example 1) Six guests, one WINDWORKS skipper. 4 hour outing on a weekday evening in the summer from 5:00PM – 9:00PM. Bring your own food and drink aboard. Vessel: New fully equipped 37 foot sailboat, Aprox $760 plus tax and skipper gratuity. Example 2) Four guests, one WINDWORKS skipper. 4 hour outing on a weekday evening in the summer from 5:00PM – 9:00PM. Bring your own food and drink aboard. Vessel: 25 foot basic day sailor , Aprox $520 plus tax and skipper gratuity. Example 3) Corporate race day for 36 people. Six 32 – 38 foot cruising sailboats. Six WindWorks skippers/instructors. Mid week workday. 8 hour event. Includes bagel breakfast and sailing “chalk talk”, catered lunch aboard, 30 minute team sailing lessons on the water, and then 3 or 4 actual races between the boats. Offical time keeping and point determination from race committee on shore. After race awards ceremony and awards presentations. Approx cost $7130 ($198 per head) |
