WINDWORKS SAILING CENTER has been the premier sailing club in the Pacific Northwest since 1992. Located on the Puget Sound, just 6 miles north of Seattle, our location is convenient, breathtaking and offers direct access to sailing on the Sound. Our location, in the geographic center of the Puget Sound, offers a large variety of great cruising destinations to the North, South, and West - including scenic day-sail and multi-day itineraries.
    We specialize in teaching people to sail with confidence. We take the time to understand your sailing goals, and evaluate any current sailing skills that you may have to date. From there, we use the US SAILING KEELBOAT building block teaching approach which combines teaching practical skills in a stimulating, safe environment aboard our boats. As you progress through each certification level, you will be able to sail on your own, in vessels appropriate to that level, and in appropriate weather conditions within navigational limits, building confidence at that level. This stair step approach of  "learn, sail, learn, sail" is a proven method of taking you from basic day-sailing on a smaller 25 foot vessel for the day all the way to cruising a large 43 foot vessel through the San Juan Islands for a week. And, it can all be done at your pace, so you can progress naturally and confidently. Come learn to sail with us.
    Part of the learn to sail process involves a variety of sailboats that match various skill levels. Windworks has a fleet of 30 vessels, ranging from 25-foot basic day-sailing vessels up to 43-foot cruising sailboats and catamarans. Whether you are an experienced sailor looking for a variety of sailing opportunities, or a new student progressing through the fleet for new sailing experiences, our charter fleet is ready to go for the day, weekend, or week.
    The Windworks Sailing club is designed to be your home for sailing instruction, charter, and social sailing time. Use the vessels as you would your own, exploring sailing with friends and family. Start sailing from scratch, or improve your sailing skills through the club at your own pace. We offer very individualized attention in helping you meet your goals. All of this is offered in an affordable, convenient way. Your access to sailing is as close as your phone!
